I have received many comments regarding today's news that the Liberals are on track to accumulate $90 billion in debt due to Mr. Trudeau's spending promises.
Yep, you read that right... $90 billion dollars.
As you may recall, the Liberals claimed that they would run, at most, a "modest" deficit of $10 billion annually. However, the Liberals now admit it is "very likely" that the deficit for his upcoming budget will exceed $10 billion.
I know many of you are nervous about the very real possibility that they will have to hike your taxes to pay for their political promises.
We Manitobans already feel burned by the NDP's broken promises, which have cost every family hundreds of dollars. The worst thing for hardworking families at this time is for the federal Liberals to do the same.
Do you think it's okay for the Liberals to break their spending promises and hike up the deficit?
